Pam Shelton-Anderson | 3 comments Hello
I am reading the Princes in the Tower: Solving History's Greatest Cold Case by Philippa Langley. I have the Kindle version with a cover different from the profile here but has the same ISBN 978-1-63936-627-9. The ebook number is 978--1-63936-628-6. I am unable to set the status to Currently Reading in the Kindle app as I am usually able, and it says Not On Profile. Whilst I can set the status on the website, I cannot see my notes and highlights. I tried changing the edition on the book page, but to no avail. Thanks for any help.
Pam

Martina (martina_s_hlavou_v_knihach) | 12045 comments I am sorry but Kindle app has nothing to do with Goodreads - we cant help you with notes, highlights or even with choosing the correct edition via the app.

Also - Kindle editions do not have ISBN numbers, they have ASIN numbers. ISBN 978-1-63936-627-9 belongs to the hardcover edition.

If you want us to add the Kindle edition with the cover you have, provide the Amazon link where the book (kindle) can be found and we will add it.

Pam Shelton-Anderson | 3 comments Hi Martina,
Thanks for the response. I do have my Kindle attached to my Goodreads account and typically when I start a book, I go to the About This Book dropdown and update the Goodreads status to Currently Reading. It allows my notes and highlights to appear in Goodreads which has an excellent way to review them. It didn't work this time and could see it was an edition issue. The copyright page of my edition had both the ISBN and the ebook number in my prior message. At this point, since the text of the Kindle and the hardcover is essentially the same, I will just use the current hardcover Goodreads profile to log my reading activity and review. Thanks again for your response.
Pam
