YA book. Main character is completely paralysed (cerebral palsy?) and is threatened by her sister's boyfriend. Read before 2019?

read potentially 5+ years ago?? its a ya book where the main character is completely paralysed (may have a form of cerebral palsy i cant remember). she is threatened and told to off herself daily by her sister's boyfriend when no one else is around, and she can't tell anyone because she has no way of communicating. then her family go to a doctor, who find that she can communicate through breathing out her nose, so they work out a way to connect that to an ipad. one scene i remember is the mother found a new babysitter for the mc, then gets super angry and fires her because she was treating the mc like a baby and dressing her up as a princess. another scene i remember is when the mc and another girl are spying on the abusive boyfriend doing sketchy stuff in an alleyway.
