Are caravel and once upon a broken heart connnected or can i read caravel and then read the once upon a broken heart series

What would be better to read first caravel or once upon a broken heart

ouabh is the sequel to caraval so you should probably read caraval first

OUABH is a spin off from the Caraval series :) It would be better to read the Caraval series first imo because it provides context to certain events that are referenced in OUABH. I personally would read Caraval first but the choice is yours. I know some people just went straight to Once Upon a Broken Heart and enjoyed it just as much. I loved both series so its entirely up to you :)

Neither series is spicy because they are YA, but they both have heavy romance elements
