Me too. I still have a Crouch waiting in the wings, but saving it for the next wheel as it has a lovely U title, lol.
No, but only if they are just naturally aging during the book. So, if they are mentioned as 11 in the prologue, but in chapter 1 they are 18, that won't work.

Also, anyone got a good recommendation for MPG Folklore that's not going to be a slow read.

And for the Lion King Retelling can we include any Hamlet retelling since it is based off of that?

Any character is fine, as long as there is a "speaking" role or a plot-driven part in the story. It doesn't have to be a main character, but it can't be just an off-hand comment (e.g. "fairy's exist").
Also, if the book/world considers them a "fairy/fae", even if it's not the "usual" definition of one, that's ok.

I may well move on to book 2 of ACOTAR, if I can find a cheap copy somewhere 😁

The library, maybe? Or a thrift/second hand type store?
The library, maybe? Or a thrift/second hand type store?

I'm sure I will find it, or I might see if I can sign up for a Scrib'd trial with my parents' address or something if they have it 😁
ETA: Yes they do. So will do that later this month.

TIA

No, because then we open the door to other creatures that are similar to fairies, like sprites. There is some disagreement on the matter, so I'm going to stick with Fairy or Fae(rie). And, as I said above, if the book/world considers them a "fairy/fae", even if it's not the "usual" definition of one, it works.

That's fine. I think I found one that will work. Reading Lament by Maggie Stiefvater.

Thanks, Sammy! I'll see if I can get it.
ETA: Wow, it's a popular book! I found it at my library, but I'm #8 in queue for the hard back and #38 in queue for the ebook.

Thanks for this book suggestion, Holly. I was able to download the ebook now from my library, so I'll be reading it too. I read the preview and it seems like it will read fast.

You know, I can't say I'm very surprised! It seems to have been really popular since it came out.
