2024: (Impossible) Disney Challenge

You can search for a specific tag and then go through the pages of results to find a book you like :)

Yes! What Maddy said is what I was going to share! Sorry, I am finally done with the wild holiday work schedule!

To clarify on the MPG/Tag issue. I will allow some discretion when choosing books for the MPG/Tag tasks.
Try your hardest to find the correct book to work for an MPG. If you cannot find something (whether because you've read all the books that work, or you just don't have access, etc) you may use a tag (as long as there are a reasonable amount of tags - not just one). I won't put a number on this - use your honest judgment.
I will work on a cheat list.

Same!! Hope your holiday has been amazing also. I was able to spend time with all of my grandkids, except for the oldest who lives quite far from us. Then everyone at my house (all 4 of my kids, my hubby, and the grandkids) ate and then promptly took naps. I think it's the first time every single person in my house was sleep at the same time, except at night. 🤣

Yes!
Yes!

Question: May we move books around? I imagine this wouldn't be an issue until well into the year, but if we were to need to move a book to a different task OR to swap out a book for better page points, may we?
Thanks!

Yes!"
Awesome, thanks! 😁

Yes, you are free to move things! They only restriction would be for the Bonus Monthly Tasks - those can only be moved if the read dates are within the requirements.

Excellent! Thank you, Ashley.

Holly, you can use Goodreads "default" version page count (the first book that shows up when searching the book). If the book you're reading ONLY has an audio version (like an Audible only book), then use the following formula to get your page count:
minutes x 150 = words
words ÷ 250 = pages
(example: 4hr 15m = 255 minutes x 150 = 38,250 words ÷ 250 = 153pgs)

I have the same question as it applies to "Fantasy Romance"
Sammy wrote: "With the task 'MPG Historical Romance', does it need to be within a single MPG, or does it count if the book has both Historical and Romance as separate MPGs?"
Bernadette wrote: "I have the same question as it applies to "Fantasy Romance""
I want both to be single MPGs! But I will accept "Romantasy" for "Fantasy Romance", as this seems to be a genre that isn't going away.

much to my dismay, lol!
I'll see what I can find that isn't a "modern" regency romance (really hate those). all the classics seem to have them as separates. most inconsiderate of them! lol.

Do I have a single Historical Romance? Do I heck! So I will be taking recs for "non-romance centred" Historical Romance from people (300+ pages please), otherwise I guess I'll be picking up another Outlander after all (I had planned to not read any more, lol).
What I will NOT be reading is any Bridgerton or any of that ilk. The result would not be pretty 😂
Help me out here guys. Pretty please. 😁
(What I do have several books of is Historical Fantasy. Go figure, lol)

Sorry to have to ask such a stupid question.

This is a good and easy/cheap to find Ebook series that has MPG Historical Romance and these are cute, and over 300 pages:
[bookcover:Storm and Silence|24035804] -- And it's two sequels, cute series
Book cover not showing right currently (((((?????Goodreads bug????)
Storm and Silence
It is "technically" romance but the first book is mainly action/adventure - humor type
The first book is 756 pages but it flies by, have read twice.

Looks like it may be this one, since it's the only one available on audible 😂
Thanks everyone. It's so hard to find stuff when it's that one area you really don't like! lol.

If that's correct, woud you accept a combination tag with midnight, such as aa-titles-time-midnight (Wildfire at Midnight) or the-midnight-bargain (The Midnight Bargain?
Thanks!
for tags, a single shelving is fine.
I would prefer no on the "title tags", but will accept if necessary!

I also searched for the tag “midnight”. Listopia gave The Hunger Games as the first book in the first list. But that book has around 100 pages of tags listed & no obvious way to search for a specific tag.
So what am I missing? I haven’t needed to use tags in this way before. Thanks for any advice.
