I usually find N and I both very difficult letters so I avoided the NEW BEGINNINGS option (unless "novel" counts for genre, I guess that could work.)

And if you need an I - Ilona Andrews is a fabulous husband and wife writing duo who write urban fantasy/romantasy stuff.
For me, E and O are the hard letters to get.
I also have problems because I belong to a different challenge group that uses different rules for spell outs - genres don't count, but MC names or series names do. So sometimes I'll forget which rules I'm going by.

Or Race.
Or Realistic Fiction. I never use this tag but it’s common.
N E W I and L are the most frequently used letters in this challenge, so I started by thinking of genres. Here are a fewN = nonfiction, novels, nature, noir, novella
E = essays, environmental, ecology, England, Europe
W= war, winter, writing, western
I = indigenous, immigration, india
L = literary fiction, lgbt,
Others?
In my other group the tag this month is holiday, and I read a lot of Christmas books. I needed a spot for C and H books, so I added BRING CHRISTMAS CHEER to my list. I know it’s not everyone’s holiday, but maybe someone wants to join me. I’m working on all four, but with the same books for now.
I added BRING CHRISTMAS CHEER to my challenge, Nancy. I think I'll use the same books in each also, for now. Thanks!

Glad to hear it!
Anyone have any good options for O? I picked DREAMING OF SNOW but now I'm stuck on both of the O books.
Nevermind! I just realized two of the books I picked up from the library last week will work!

For O -The Heartstopper books by Alice Oseman are delightful and very fast reads. I "never" read graphic novels but I loved these.
