My World War 2 historical fiction, "Daughters of Riga" will be published by the Wild Rose Press in February 2024. I'd like to hit the ground running with reviews, and am looking for ARC readers. If interested, check out my Goodreads author profile page Marian Exall.
Hi Alyssa,
Looking through your list of favorite books on Goodreads, I think there is a good chance that you will find DESTINY’S RING to your taste. It is a 110K, multi-POV, boutique dark fantasy that fuses a play on the conventions of Cinderella romance (instead of finding security, the protagonist, Elora, is forced to develop independence) with a tale of possession and resistance (think, GODS OF JADE AND SHADOW by Silvia Moreno-Garcia meets THE ACCURSED by Carol Joyce Oates).
The preternaturally alluring Lady Clarewell covets the supernatural ring on Thomas Cumberwell’s martial hand and has already killed in a jealous attempt to regain it. Meanwhile, Thomas romances straight-laced Elora Panganiban y Boven, a present-day Houston financial intern, and when Clarewell comes looking for the ring, entrusts it to Elora. Clarewell learns of this and murders her family trying to find the ring. Worse, the ring—a devious, malignant personality in its own right—has taken a liking to Elora and insists she become its friend. Grieving the massacre of her family, she is terrified by its hallucinatory overtures, but when she faces death at the hands of Clarewell’s killer, only the ring can save her.
I would be delighted if you would read it and let me know what you think.
I can be reached at peytondupree03@gmail.com.
Best,
Peyton Dupree

I am giving away ARC copies of my contemporary romance: Snowbound with the Billionaire Boss – An enemies to Lovers Romance in exchange for a review. For those of a sensitive disposition, I'd say it's mid-level steamy. If you could get it to me by 8 Jan 2024 at the latest, that would be great.
The summary below, gives you its flavor.
If you're interested, please let me know.
Best wishes,
Tamsin
My job as an executive assistant was great but I despised my hot billionaire boss. The way he talked down to me, his grumpy behavior. He could stick his job. Then my widowed mom became ill and my bills doubled overnight. I could leave but Mom needed me.
Ethan Blackwood was the charismatic bad-boy billionaire who owned Blackwood Enterprises. His ruthless reputation in the boardroom was only matched by his notoriety in the bedroom.
I was the latest in a long line of assistants and another potential conquest. No way that was that going to happen.
Then on a business trip in his private jet, we crashed high in the mountains during a fierce blizzard.
We were stranded in the small town of Clearwater Glen. Cut off. Snowbound.
Hot sparks inevitably fly but will they melt his frozen heart or scorch mine to a crisp?

I have a book you might like.
In Search Of The Perfect Buzz: An 80s Metal Memoir
It's based on my experience as a kid growing up in the 80s, geeking out to music and playing in a metal band while I was in high school.
Please send me a DM if this is something you might find interesting and I'll send you a link to download a free copy.
thanks,
Tommy

I have an adult urban fantasy coming out Feb 6th. If you'd like to give it a try that'd be great!

The elven realm cast her out . . . and now they expect her to save them.
The nerve, right?
Exiled to Earth, Hally has found a place amongst humans after her magic caused a tragic accident. A century later, Hally’s past walks into her tattoo shop.
Nolan, Hally’s estranged friend, is on Earth hunting a mysterious mage. Little is known about the mage except she’s powerful, ruthless and her curse is killing thousands of elves. Nolan needs Hally’s help in more ways than they realize.
But why should Hally risk the life she’s built in Seattle to save the elves that cast her out? Her unorthodox magic might hold the key to stopping the mage’s curse. As past and present intrigues arise, Hally must choose: protect her secrets or prevent a catastrophe in both realms. One thing is clear—her exile is about to get a lot more complicated.

Prelude of Fire: The Gailean Quartet, Book 1
Hello there!! I'm an author of a YA epic fantasy series. Previously published, but I had to leave the publisher last year due to an unfortunate negative experience. So, like my characters, I'm on a quest! I'll be republishing later this year and am questing for early readers for my ARC for Book 1, Prelude of Fire.
Prelude of Fire has found family, a good vs. evil quest, emotional twists and turns, and elemental and musical magic. One reader says it's like "if Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings had a baby."
ARC is available in PDF, Epub, and Mobi.
If you're interested in helping me out, drop a comment or message me here directly. I appreciate any help I can get for a successful relaunch. Thanks for considering!
Here's the blurb to help you decide if you're interested:
A desperate mission. Sinister sorcery. Can she find the seven prism shards to stop the world from being destroyed?
Ashlai, a young Fyre mage who can harness powers of flame from the sun, yearns to know about her kin. Her adoptive elven father refuses to let her travel abroad with her brother, and she despairs of ever knowing who she really is. But when the new king’s vicious spell attacks her forest home, she flees toward that unknown past—and an uncertain destiny—guided only by the strange melody in her head and a piece of broken prism.
Determined to save the land from the enchanted drought burning everything in its path, Ashlai searches for six other magical fragments to overthrow the ruthless king. With the help of a shape-shifting thief, two squabbling bards, and a snarky water elf, she races toward a perilous confrontation…and a life-changing truth.
Can Ashlai fight fire with fire to defeat the devastating spell before it consumes the entire land? And can she survive the secrets she discovers without losing her new friends, her family, and even herself?
Prelude of Fire is the thrilling first book in The Gailean Quartet YA epic fantasy series. Featuring a diverse cast, high-stakes quests, and music melded with magic, you’ll love Schulze’s emotional journey.
Read Prelude of Fire to ignite destiny today!
