Kadee McDonald | 10 comments The original edition of my book, MARISA'S CHOICE, is no longer available from Musa Publishing, so I'm self-publishing a 2nd edition with a different cover, and releasing it exclusively on Amazon on 4/11/2015.

Can the 1st edition in e-book and print be marked as 'no longer available' (the cover with the country estate on it)?

Also, in adding the 2nd edition, I accidentally (and foolishly) combined the short story prequel, MARISA BECOMING FOURTEEN, with the novel and I now need that short story to be listed separately again.

The new cover is available on my site:

http://kadeemcdonald.com/about-my-books/

It's also available now as a pre-order on Amazon.com with this ASIN:

B00URW4VLK

Thanks so much for any help you can provide.

lethe | 16368 comments I have separated "Marisa Becoming Fourteen". I see no difference with the cover on your site. Have you changed it yourself? GR keeps all editions and changing the cover of an existing edition is against GR policy.

Kadee McDonald | 10 comments Thanks, Lethe. The first time I tried to add the new cover, Goodreads didn't accept it. After accidentally combining the short story and the novel, I figured I should ask for help.

I tried to add the cover for the new edition again just so I could say exactly what happened when it wouldn't go through. The second time, I must have done something differently (and correctly!) because it was accepted.

Sorry for the confusion, and thanks for your help in correcting my combining mistake...much appreciated.

lethe | 16368 comments But was it previously another cover? If it was, the change has to be reverted and a new edition with the new cover added.

Kadee McDonald | 10 comments The 1st edition (ebook and print) is still there with the old cover and appears on the book's page. The old cover is green and has an English manor house on it.

I had already added the 2nd edition but had trouble adding the new cover. It worked the second time I tried it, and then I made it the default, following the 'instructions for authors' in a thread on this group about how to do that.

Sorry for the confusion.

lethe | 16368 comments Ah, I was talking about "Marisa Becoming Fourteen", sorry! I thought you wanted that cover replaced as well, and I didn't see any difference.

So everything is in order now?

Kadee McDonald | 10 comments Yes, sorry, my original post was confusing, wasn't it? Everything looks good for now, as far as the editions and covers. Thanks again! :)
