Ryebread It's has to be Hunger Games for me, I just think it was done better.

Sam K (zutara123) | 251 comments I enjoy both but I think The Hunger Games was better at following the books.

I mean, I haven't read HP and have only seen the first movie (but spoilered myself for the rest), but have heard more negative things about it (esp Hermione and Ron), whereas HG barely gets hate. And most HG readers do love the movie adaptation, so, yeah.

TimeFliesAway | 121 comments Wait, but do you mean remake as in a remake of the movies or the adaptation?

message 7: by Ryebread (new)

Ryebread @TimeFliesAway The movies made about the books. Sorry for the confusion!

Morgan Rose | 89 comments I think Harry Potter was done good but it has its flaws. I think Hunger Games was more accurate to the books(based off of memory of seeing all but mockingjay pt 2 and the ballad of songbirds and snakes).

Annika | 79 comments hunger games. I recently rewatched Harry Potter 1 and the outdoor scenes were so obvious: covering up the green screen with static pictures - just bad. Still love the movies as well.

modeziree. (wheredowegonow) the hunger games
in the hp movies they left out a bunch of important scenes that meant SO much but no, they added the boring scenes

message 29: by Susan (new)

Susan Stimmel (suzestimmel) | 29 comments Hunger Games by far! It was very close to the book and it was done very well. Harry Potter started off good but when they made that movie about the Tournament it was a complete letdown for me. The book was way better. They just skimmed over it in the movie. That particular one could have been made better in my opinion. The same with the Prince of Azkaban...another letdown in adapting it to film. Overall, the only films I liked in that series from the books were the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and Part 2. The books were way better overall. I loved all the Hunger Games books and movies equally though but of course the books always rule. However, for that series both formats were enjoyable.
