Had to look back just to make sure I was right, but my memory came through for a change: Arcadia by Lauren Groff. Hard to believe that was 9 years ago!

I think the first one I read specifically for the group was Middlesex (September 2015).

To be honest, I haven't read anything with the group. I did participate in the discussion of Stardust by Neil Gaiman but I had read it prior to the group read.

I did read This Thing of Darkness by Harry Thompson a few months after the group read it and I posted my thoughts in the discussion.

Looking back, this group has introduced me to a good number of great reads! My first was The Big Green Tent by Lyudmila Ulitskaya in 2017. Loved it.

I took more notes on that book than possibly any other book ever as I was trying to capture all the characters and their relations to one another. No idea what inspired me… :D
