Had to look back just to make sure I was right, but my memory came through for a change: Arcadia by Lauren Groff. Hard to believe that was 9 years ago!

Aetherial Worlds: Stories by Tatyana Tolstaya (early 2020). I still fondly remember our group discussion that Hugh moderated.

I did read This Thing of Darkness by Harry Thompson a few months after the group read it and I posted my thoughts in the discussion.

I took more notes on that book than possibly any other book ever as I was trying to capture all the characters and their relations to one another. No idea what inspired me… :D
