Atsu | 227 comments Hi, this book https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5... has only 888 pages for the story, page 890-891 shows the family tree of outlander, page 893-900 is the authors note, page 901-902 is the acknowledgements.

Dana | 148 comments Hey, Athena! The page count is actually correct according to GR policies. The librarian manual says:

"The number of pages in a book is meant to include all content except for advertisements and preview chapters for other books. Included end material may include acknowledgments, afterwords, appendices, bibliographies, glossaries, indexes, notes, and suggested discussion questions." (https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/...)

Family trees, author's notes and acknowledgements all count towards the total page count. I can totally see why you thought it should be different though. Hope that clears up the confusion!
