I’m looking for a book I read around 1989 maybe 1991 about a traveler of sw us, who tells of adventure while investigating the history of sw. He drives a van around for a couple of years and talks about his experiences while also discussing the history of the area from native Americans to more modern history of testing of atom bombs in the desert sw.
