Please don't do that. Although not as bad as it was at the beginning of the year, things are still behind here & multiple threads don't help. Instead bump your original thread no more frequently than every 48 hours.

Also page counts are usually done by new librarians or librarians without much free time. Requests that are for more than a page count may be skipped over. This is the case with your request. I've added some missing details, but could you supply a short description in Malay?

Please allow at least 20 minutes for the changes to reflect (much) longer if you are using the app.

Thank you Carol! Finally it was updated. Sorry for my unusual behavior, I was getting frustrated as the request was not actioned for weeks. Below are description of the book in Malay from the back end of the copy that I own. Again thanks! and sorry!

"Nasionalisme Melayu merupakan satu-satunya gerakan politik yang telah merintis jalan ke arah terbentuknya negara Malaya, dan kemudiannya Malaysia. Namun, nasionalisme Melayu merupakan salah satu gerakan nasionalisme di dunia yang dapat dianggap nasionalisme yang gagal.

Gerakan itu tidak berhasil melahirkan sebuah negara-bangsa (nation) Melayu sebagaimana yang dicita-citakannya. Sebaliknya, yang lahir adalah Malaysia, sebuah negara-bangsa pelbagai kaum yang telah terbentuk oleh sejarah pemerintah kolonial.

Penulis buku ini, Rustam A. Sani, berpendapat bahawa nasionalisme Melayu itu sepatutnya dapat ditransformasikan menjadi "nasionalisme Malaysia". Namun demikian, itu tidak pernah terjadi kerana politik di negara pasca-kolonial itu amat dhaif unsur-unsur wawasan, falsafah, dan pemikirannya.
