I enjoyed that book and I don't see a single category that works perfectly! Perhaps it's a travel destination for you?

One of the characters drinks a lot, and it's POSSIBLE he passes out for more than 24 hours at one point, I can't remember.

yes exactly! I definitely haven't read enough classics or graphic novel, so figured I could get two birds with one stone and try and fit some into the popsugar reading challenge! Thanks again for your help :)

Tisa | 2 comments I just started reading Brain on Fire My month of madness by Susannah cahalan for 2 categories. 24 year old character and sleeping 24 hours or more. In the author's note 2nd paragraph the author stares she is not a reliable source. That's a 3rd category. BONUS. Pleasantly surprised ☺️

Deb | 51 comments Does Counting the Cost fit anywhere? She mentioned her age a few times but I don't think the 24 year old prompt fits completely.

Cathern (cat4280) | 27 comments Would the book Eternally Yours be able to count towards a book written by a nonbinary/trans author even though only one of the authors in the anthology is nonbinary?

message 218: by Rachel Anne (new)

Rachel Anne (rakados) | 34 comments The Art of Floating

I just finished The Art of Floating, and it was an excellent collection of poetry. It can be used for the following prompts:

4. A book about a writer.
11. A book from a genre you typically avoid (if poetry is not your thing)
17. A book set in a travel destination on your bucket list (if you want to travel to northern Ontario or Canada)
20. A book set in the snow (many of the poems are about winters in Canada)
21. A book that was published in a year that ends with "24"
29. A book about a neurodivergent main character (the author is neurodivergent)
48. A collection of at least 24 poems

I have not read that, it looks very creepy!

Maybe: you want to travel there? it's 3 POVs? it's an unreliable narrator?

message 221: by Nell (new)

Nell | 16 comments Hello,

I have read Listen To Me and Very Sincerely Yours

I am not sure where they fit in other than the book title that is a complete sentence. Any thoughts would be great!

I can't think of a single category! Unless you usually avoid mysteries?, or you have Trenton NJ on your travel bucket list? LOL NO ONE has Trenton on their bucket list

Mel | 90 comments Any suggestions for what prompt(s) might fit The Robber Bride?

message 226: by Nell (new)

Nell | 16 comments Mel wrote: "Any suggestions for what prompt(s) might fit The Robber Bride?"

I am not familiar with this book but some Googling says it has maagical realism in it. Otherwise, you can fit it under a place on your travel destination as Canada.

Is the narrartor unreliable? That is another prompt. Or is in told in at least 3 different points of view?

Hope this helps.

I did realize as I got further in that there are 3 POVs, so I think I'll use it for that! Thank you for the suggestion. :)

Still reading it myself but...
Maybe magic realism
✔️ librarian rec. Yes. See https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/1...
✔️ bookseller rec. It is in a number of Goodread recs. I consider Goodreads a bookseller bc it is owned by Amazon and links to purchase sites.
📗travel bucket list destination

A Visit from the goon squad is considered a bildungsroman

The Candy House, from the description seems to have more than 3 POVs

The cabin at the end of the world, seems like a complete sentence to me

A psalm for the wild build is set in space

cloud cuckoo land recommended by a librarian

I have nothing for Fall of Giants, unless someone dies in the first chapter? Recommended by a friend?
