Cathern (cat4280) | 27 comments I recently finished reading Worst Case Scenario, and the entire book takes place in the span of 24 hours except for the epilogue that jumps a year into the future(less than 10 pages). Can this book count for this category?

I think so. Last time we had this, I read The Sun Is Also a Star, which is the same situation - all in a day, then an epilogue a few years later. And I think a number of people used it for that prompt.

Denise | 359 comments I read Women Talking by Miriam Toews. It is more or less 24 hours across 2 days. They start talking in the afternoon on day 1, and are enacting their decisions by mid-morning the next day

I read that for this prompt last year and I agree it fits!

I stretched the definition a bit this year and read The Neverending Story. The story takes a very long time for Bastian to experience, but he's only gone a day in the real world.

Michele Olson | 120 comments A Meal in Winter by Hubert Mingarelli. It has a couple of pages at the end that explains what happens after, but most of it is in the 24-hour timeframe.
