I start early when it drops. The 2024 car models are already out to buy so........

I start promptly on January 1st. I use the month of December to plan and map out the new reading challenge and finish off whatever I have left this year. Having the prompts drop on December 1st for the following year is great because this way I know what from my massive TBR pile can be used for the upcoming challenge and what will not fit, therefore I can read it in December (or later any time) since those titles won't work for the challenge. ;-)

Ron | 2708 comments I'm on the fence right now. I'm thinking about starting my challenge on Dec. 26th which works this way it gives me time to finish the two books I'm currently working on and then work on my PS Challenge.

I am so looking forward to this year. There's so much more leeway for nonfiction books. Out of the 50 prompts, I'm planning on doing 47 so that's got me very excited!

Start when you want, but keep a couple pages back so you can finish in 2024.

Ron | 2708 comments So much of what I plan to read is nonfiction, but I'm really happy that at least 6 of the books I chose are Indigenous history books.

Khalisti | 24 comments I'm using the last days of the year to clear some of the TBRs that didn't make it to the 2024 challenge. :)
2023 was my first Popsugar Challenge, but as I love to torture myself I've decided to go through the historical list since 2015 :D

LMAOOO!!! Kind of how I felt, Nadine. I gave up on Book Riot. Whatever the last year was that I planned out (and didn't attempt), I changed the wording of the prompts because I was so annoyed. It would have been frowned upon by the mods in that group LOL.

I don't care for the NanoWriMo prompt (like a lot of us), but I was swooning when I saw K-pop because I have been so into it lately that I started learning Korean. I think Comeback sounds really cute and its on Unlimited. I also planned for XOXO for a book that starts with X, so it's like a two for one :-)

I gave up on Book Riot as well. The prompts just weren't for me.

I love the PS one a lot more this year. I'm only skipping 3 prompts from it which is a lot better than I did for 2023 where I skipped 15.
