The reviews under a title on 'zon show up in order of most useful to least useful. But you can change that so that they post from most recent to least recent. Then yours will be at the top (or close to it.)

P.L. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think he means he literally "can't find" his review, but that it hasn't been published on Amazon yet.

Anyway, fwiw I contacted Amazon late last night about two reviews I've been waiting a long time for, first through the chat function and then at the email address they directed me to. They haven't replied so far but one of the reviews is finally up today. I don't know if it's because I contacted Amazon about it or just a coincidence. I first submitted it on Nov. 20, so 11 days ago. If that helps at all!

I'm really distressed. I'm posting this here because I don't know who else to talk to about it. I received some threatening messages. They're actually comments on a review someone left on my book. The person is threatening to pirate my book, among other things.

Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Sephyrra, I know a number of members have received similar things. There are scattered short discussions in various rounds from those members about this (I haven't yet been able to find them again, though). I know there's at least a way to report these jerks.

Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will jump in to help you. I can only offer that you're not the only one and also this sort of outrageous behavior has seemed to see an increase in activity recently.

Oh my goodness, Sephyrra, I'm so sorry that happened!
Take a look at the thread P.L. mentioned. Hopefully it will help you. There are ways to block certain people from messaging you. If it's the same people mentioned on the thread in P.L's link, they're just trolling jerks looking to ruin someone's day.

If they're real pirates/plagiarists, here is some good news:

About a decade ago, a friend of mine was full on plagiarized, and she successfully sued the plagiarist for 150,000 dollars.

Pdmac, you might look at your Amazon review and see if there's anything iffy in there that Amazon would flag. S.Lynn, as you might have seen, just mentioned shortening a review that was taking its sweet time, and the shortened review went through in 24 hours. If there's nothing inappropriate or questionable, it may be that Amazon is just dragging its feet as it sometimes does. Aside from editing your review to take out potentially questionable words/comments, I can't think of anything else to do, but wait.
