Kenneth McAlpine | 18 comments Hi, I would appreciate if the page count of this book could be updated.

The currently listed the page count is 240 but the page count should be 197 as seen:

https://blackwells.co.uk/bookshop/pro...

A higher quality cover image can also be found:

https://www.orionbooks.co.uk/wp-conte...

I also don't know where this would go but it doesn't show as part of a series in bookshelves.

Thank you for any help you can provide.

Kenneth McAlpine | 18 comments Have I posted this in the correct place?

Happy to move it if needs be as I have mentioned more than page numbering.

It is linked, but the rule is to post the ISBN as we don't know if the link refers to a random edition or the particular one.
Anyway, one more question: 197 is the last page and there are no more pages as acknowledgments, afterwords, appendices, bibliographies, glossaries, indexes, notes, and suggested discussion questions?

Also the number of pages in a book is meant to include all content except for advertisements and preview chapters for other books.

Thanks

Kenneth McAlpine | 18 comments Hello,

Sorry about the mix-up, I'll remember that rule for next time, thank you.

There isn't anything like that.

There are a few pages of review excepts, other novels, bibliography, title, copyright, and dedication before the numbering starts with the first page of chapter one.

The book then ends on page 197 with the reverse of that page blank.

There is then a double sided blank page before the cover.

I hope this is useful and thank you for you help.
