Susan in NC (susanncreader) | 461 comments Terrific, thanks, Tania! I haven’t read Miss Marjoribanks yet, and it’s available, so I might read that in January instead. I looked at the GR page for this Mrs. Blencarrow, and the reviews are not great. Since readers generally refer to Miss Marjoribanks as her best, I’d rather start there.

That's fine. I can set up threads for both so members have a choice. I may well try to reread it myself as well. As you say, it is readily available and I only have the vaguest memory of it.

Susan in NC (susanncreader) | 461 comments I see by our Daphne du Maurier poll that it’s a three-way divide; have you decided which we will read for February?

I was thinking about that. How about we read all three over the year, starting with The King's General in Feb?

I’d like that as I was torn between two of the three tied books!

Great. Then we could read My Cousin Rachel in May/June and The House on the Strand in Sept/Oct if that suits everyone?

Same, that would be terrific. Strand is the only one I don’t have, I can start looking

That would be great, gives me time to get a used copy, if nothing else!

Antoinette | 77 comments Sounds good. I’ll try and get a copy of The King’s General.

You're welcome. I realised we'd discussed the dates, but I hadn't got round to updating the list. Very remiss of me 😀 easier to keep track in the one post.
