Children’s book following a bear (?) that gets a slice of key lime pie at a carnival

Don’t know much more then the title, but I remember reading a book as a child with a cute art style based around an animal I’m pretty sure is a bear getting key lime pie. I also think it took place in a carnival setting, as I vaguely remember the backgrounds having certain things in a carnival like stands with red and white stripes. Hoping it isn’t just a story made up in my head.
