trying to combine editions for my book

I can't seem to figure out how to combine editions. I have the book I added, with my profile, book description, ISBN, etc. and then there is an addition someone else has added, and now both have had reviews and ratings put on them. But I only have the one book, so I would like to combine it into one listing. How do I do that? When I go to edit the book and select combine, both titles are listed, but there is only one checkbox and the message I get is that I have to select another book to combine them. I'm confused.

Nevertheless, I found them and combined the editions.

For future reference, combining does not necessitate a superlibrarian. Please post future requests in the 'Book & Author
Page Issues' folder.
