Carolyn | 92 comments Forget Me Not by Stacy Willingham Forget Me Not by Stacy Willingham is an atmospheric and immersive slow burn about a woman searching for the truth for her sister who disappeared 20 years before. The location and several unexpected twists set it apart from the usual 'disappearing girl' trope.

PattyMacDotComma | 621 comments The Third Act of Theo Gruene by Talya Tate Boerner takes place during the pandemic when neighbours sometimes became extended families. Theo's quiet life of science changes when a bright little girl appears at his front door wearing a too-big, lime-green raincoat and asks to stay. A nice read.

Sian Thomas (sianhthomas) | 12 comments Three very different books, and a mixture of 3-4 star ratings!

By the author of Holes, this was a fairytale-esque fantasy that I didn't click 100% with, but I think needs a reread to properly get it:

The Magician of Tiger Castle
The Magician of Tiger Castle by Louis Sachar

My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

A cute, cosy and fun read next:

A Witch's Guide to Magical Innkeeping
A Witch's Guide to Magical Innkeeping by Sangu Mandanna

My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

And a gruesome and gory horror school for monsters that didn't hit right for me (I didn't quite realise the genre when I requested!)

The Library at Hellebore
The Library at Hellebore by Cassandra Khaw
