Do you guys finish one book before moving on to the next or, do you jump between different books?

Same, Sophia. My limit is reading 3 series at the same time. Or 2 books or so that are too similar. but other that I can read 10,000 books at the same time
I have to read a whole series (if the book is part of one) before I can move on to another book. sometimes if I get bored of a series of books I'll read a short story along side as long as it is a different genre.

Of course I tutor Eng Lit so there's the risk I'd start analyzing the holes in the narrative and chronology etc too.
I usually read one book at a time, but I have moments when I feel like alternating and getting lost in different genres.✅✅
I am a one book at a time for the sole reason that when I read the book most of the time it is in a series and I can't switch between sereies. Now if I know it is a lighter reading moment like a GN then I can jump between them but if it is book vs book then it is a no go for me.
I used to be a one book at a time person but as I'm getting older I find I always make sure I have a book with me. so currently I believe I'm in the middle of 10 books
I read one book at a time. Even if I’m struggling to finish or it’s not my favorite, I’ll make myself complete it lol. Was contemplating trying out reading more than one at a time, but I’m not sure if I’d be able to fully immerse myself in each story if I did that and that holds me back from trying it out.
I do both sometimes I like a book I found at a bookstore but I am reading something else then I read both. But most of the time I read one at a time.
One at a time because it's always a different genre after every book but I do read mangas in between.
I do both but sometimes it can get confusing so I think that reading one at a time is better.
I'm a mood reader so I have about 10 reads on the go at any given time. that being said I'll also finish a book in one sitting if I have time.
I jump between books, I read one or two for me, one with my husband(well I read to him) and audio book while I travel for work. In the past only read one at a time very OCD, wish I would of read this way sooner.
In the past I used to read more books at the same time but then I realized I was not enjoying each of them enough. Now I read one book by one and I alternate different genres, but I keep on buying more all together.
I'm always reading at least 5 books at a time, but each with their own specific time and place, (i.e. this book is for when I'm sad, this is for when I feel like taking notes, this is for school, this is for english class, etc.)
Few times I read two books at the same time, but my preference is just one
I am only able to read multiple books at the same time if I’m like in the middle of one series that I’ve lost interest in. I’ll dive into another book or new series and make the first series more like homework to complete and pace myself cause I really hate to DNF books!
I will read at least three books at a time but one I will probably get a tiny bit bored with so I'll read another one
Read multiple at a time I've got good focus so I don't confuse them.
I always have at least two going--one on CD for the car and one actual book. However, it is not unusual for me to be reading 4 or 5 at a given time. I like graphic novels a lot so sometimes I like to sneak them in while reading a book that is a bit cumbersome.

I don’t think I’ve been in the middle of only one book in many years now. I’m always in the middle of at least three. I’ve done this for a couple reasons. The biggest one is that I get too excited about all the many books that are out there, and I’m too impatient to just wait to finish the one I’m currently on.
The next reason is more of a personal trait. I remember every book I’ve read since 8th or 9th grade. If not in detail, then in summary. At some point, reading wasn’t just to read anymore, it was to learn, comprehend, dissect, discuss, and grow from literature. This mindset has made it possible for me to read multiple storylines simultaneously without conflict. And I love it.
The least interesting reason why is simply that I get in different moods to read different kinds of stories. One day I’ll be reading historical fiction, the next I want fantasy. Problem solved if I’m reading multiple books at the same time anyway.
I only read books simultaneously if one of them is poetry or comic or sth light and easy like those stuff cause I get overwhelmed and go into a slump if it gets too much, I like to put all my focus on one book at a time
I’m a one book at a time reader. I love getting into a book and reading it all the way through before moving on. I’ll read a series through on my Kindle Unlimited before moving to the next also. I get lost in one world at a time.😁

I finish my book before I start something else. In fact, I finish the whole series before I start something new. I don't like to keep switching between different stories and storyworlds, it mixes up and blends together as I go and I won't be able to tell what belongs in which book/story/storyworld. So one book and one bookseries at a time.
I’m a mood reader so I have at least three books going at the same time. Sometimes more.
It depends. Sometimes I concentrate on only one book at a time, especially when the grading period is ending soon. My day job is teaching World History and I have 200 students.Other times I will hop between two or more books.
I think whichever method matches how you read is best.
I'm a multiple book/audiobook juggler for sure!! I try to be sure the genre are different to facilitate keeping story and characters straight. lol! The struggle is real!!
I like to focus on one book at a time with the exception of I will listen to an audiobook or two while finishing it.
I like reading 2 books at a time, it's really because I get bored easily so it's more fun for me to read 2-3 books at a time
There are times I have to put a book away at night because I know if I don't I'll be awake till 3 reading, which when you have to work the next day is not a good thing.
