Hi, this book https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3... has only 302 pages for the story.

Hi, here I link you the criteria https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/.... In short, this site consider countable pages every page after the end of the story, stopping at the publicitary content (without counting it).Hope I have made clearence.
In my version there are discussion questions from 305-306 then page 307-312 is the preview for the next book
I have 2 questions:1 what are discussion questions?
2 After Page 12 the book ends? only blank pages and no glossary or other credits or appendix?

Discussion questions are for book clubs or for school usually. Yes, after 312 is a page for advertising of other books by the publisher then that's it, nothing else.
Sounds like it should be 312 pages, which is also the number on Worldcat.Changed to 312 pages.
May take a little while to show correctly, due to caching.
the preview is excluded from Goodreads count criteria... It should be 306
