gosh I want to start reading that but I'm so afraid that the reading slump will hit me after that !!
I think starting with rlly short books like novellas and working ur way up to bigger novels that all interest u or share a quality e.g. genre
Ok this is a list of books/ series that I could not put down (varying in quality but I think all decently addicting and easy to pick up):- Zodiac Academy: sometimes its giving wattpad and the world building can be laughable but there is a special seasoning in them I promise.
- Sinners Anonymous book 2 and 3 (its a duet in the series) : I don't even know about the first book and I don't need to it is very much addicting and easy to get into quick.
-Honestly, Im totally faking it: its a standalone and it reads very much like a 2000s romcom. In the beginning you might get second hand embarrassment but the story gets into the plot very quickly and the romance is really sweet.
-Once upon a broken heart series: it is a follow up series to the Caraval trilogy but you can get away with not reading it, everything you need to know will be summarized again in OUABH anyway. But If you like the romance + fantasy of Fourth Wing you will love Eva and Jacks.
- The Kingmakers Series: really the first one is the one im referencing, I think its very Fourth Wing coded. In terms of dangerous schools where you could die at any moment at least. Its a mafia school + best friends to lovers. The best friends pine a lot and the whole school is involved in a tournament, it keeps things interesting.
If you do read any of these make sure to read the content warnings first !<3
A Soldier's Silence :)https://mybook.to/asoldierssilence
I have been trying to read Crave by Tracy Wolf and can't get into it, maybe if you read it and tell me it's good I can get on with it :D
try a challenge or go back to the first book you fell in love with and read it again to Jumpstart your reading again.
What usually gets me out of a reading slump is I watch Booktube videos. I don't know if it would help, but when I watch people talk about books, It makes me want to get back into reading.
The Deal by Elle Kennedy if you like romance, a flicker in the dark or all the dangerous things by Stacey willingham & the wives by Tarryn fisher if you like thriller
prob like a mystery book ... so i would rec the good girl's guide to murder series if u haven't alr read the entire series
no longer human's a short book that doesn't take long to read, but it leaves an impact. but if you want to read a longer book that when you finish feels like it was only 20 pages, pick up 2ha.
Fourth wing is one of the best books you could ever read seriously it would get you out of a reading slump!!
