Sagittarius: Spice Road by Maiya Ibrahim
Leo: The Strange Case of the Alchemist's Daughter by Theodora Goss
ETA: this is an especially irritating clue because googling : โFantasy Books Spiceโ just returns a lot of lists with Fourth Wing and Sarah J Maas which I am confident is not the book. (But wow what a doozy if it was. ) lolol
The more guesses I make the more convinced I am that all blurbs are terrible and tell me nothing, or that all books sounds exactly the same. ๐
Sarah wrote: "The more guesses I make the more convinced I am that all blurbs are terrible and tell me nothing, or that all books sounds exactly the same."I remember when I was very young and read somewhere about how there are studies of people reading fake(r than usual) horoscopes, and how you can always find *something* that fits your personality in any list of characteristics :)

Yeah I think thatโs true of most divination/future telling techniques. ๐
lol. I think this is too obvious also but, it does fit the strengths, weaknesses and likes kind of perfectly:Pisces: Chlorine by Jade Song
I don't know if their are any otter suits in this one but it sounds like the sort of book that might have one:
Aquarius: Counterweight by Djuna
(I did consider Chlorine as one of my books, but as with many others, I knew you'd guess it because we'd talked about it, so I didn't use it :P)
I wanted obscure so I wrote a book and self-published it, and if it wins you'll all have to buy copies from me XD
Anna wrote: "I wanted obscure so I wrote a book and self-published it, and if it wins you'll all have to buy copies from me XD"Hahaha.
I suppose then that we didn't all play a grand joke and make Pisces: The Pisces by Melissa Broder because it's the most mainstream of them all i guess but would still be a very mod/lying fox thing to do. lol
I'll stop now. I have things i am procrastinating.
Anna wrote: "I wanted obscure so I wrote a book and self-published it, and if it wins you'll all have to buy copies from me XD"Found it! Pisces Man Secrets by Anna Kovach
lol
okay. i'm done searching goodreads for fantasy books with "Pisces" in the title. It's taken me on quite the roller coaster through indie romance publishing.
Sarah wrote: "okay. i'm done searching goodreads for fantasy books with "Pisces" in the title. It's taken me on quite the roller coaster through indie romance publishing."did you look for Fish in the title?
I think perhaps the sun ought to set on pisces guesses, your dedication is commendable but it's going to be nigh impossible to guess
A less cryptic hint for Leo:
It's been mentioned by at least one person in the group in a thread in the past 30 days.

...so all we have to do is read through a month full of threads?
Sarah! Help!!

Your hunch will pay off, though not as you expect. Don't let others sideline you--people are often loud when they have nothing meaningful to add. At work, stay by your guns and be ready to give others a chance. Remember reason and emotion are not opposites--make room for both. Some will try to silence you for their comfort. Stay bold. Beware bad faith actors bearing torches.

Add this:
Not seasonally appropriate, but it appears that Leo, by some strange alchemy, is presently within reach. it reminds us that we can always make our own way in life, and that people who tell us who they are should be believed.

Scorpio: The Deep by Rivers Solomon?
At work, someone will want to steal your labor. However, the relationships you've built will come to your aid if you ask.
Taurus: What the River Knows by Isabel Ibanez?

I think I lied to someone somewhere, but not maliciously. There is one more book on this poll that is also somewhere in my book stack on GR

I'm guessing it's not one of the ones that's been guessed so far?
Some of you are too easelly led off the gilded path and are in need of guidance. It might be a bit pricey but it's safer to do the taurusty thing by getting a tour guide or hopping on an open top bus. Being creative is great. Exploration is good. But do it with friends and have a destination in mind.
Also, bring lots of lotion. You don't want to look ashy. Your parents would be disappointed.
