Elsa Brodén | 9 comments Does anyone have a good high fantasy rec for beginners??Like a book that takes place in another world, talking animals, non-human creatures etc, but kinda easy to understand since I haven’t read any high fantasy:)

Larissa | 90 comments I'd say maybe try acotar, poison study or the cruel Prince. If you want a standalone, maybe try uprooted.

they're all high fantasy romance and more focused around young adults so the writing isn't too harsh for beginners, I'd say.

Annabella | 284 comments Cruel Prince and Powerless are YA and quite easy to understand. Also ACOTAR is good and I don't think too complicated.

Vroni | 2 comments I personally love the Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson. I feel like it is a lot easier to get into than his Way of Kings series (for beginners) and has great, loveable characters.
