Escape with the Prodigal originally appeared in Holiday Menace, but Holiday Menace is not part of the Harbored in Crow's Nest series.

So, Escape with the prodigal should be linked to the Harbored in Crow's Nest series, but Holiday Menace should not.

From what I can see in the description for Holiday Menace, "Escape with the Prodigal" was published in this anthology.
"Escape with the Prodigal by Danielle Grandinetti
Only a Christmas miracle will save an unwed mother and the lumberjack protecting her. A holiday romance filled with danger, redemption, and sacrifice."

So it being added to the series is not wrong. This is done often on Goodreads and it's not against the rules. It seems "Escape with the Prodigal" has only been published as part of the anthology.

The book record for the book was added only yesterday https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... and while it says it's a Kindle edition it lacks an asin number and number of pages despite saying the release date is October 4, 2023, so about a month ago. Where was this book published? Can you please add the information missing to the book record? I couldn't find this book on Amazon. This is all relevant to fulfill this request properly.

Hi - yes, it was originally published as part of the anthology - so the Escape with the Prodigal is both part of the anthology and part of the Harbored in Crow's Nest series. The anthology, Holiday Menace, is not part of the Harbored in Crow's Nest series.

Escape with the Prodigal doesn't have an ASIN number yet because I won't publish it separately until January, so I changed the publication date to reflect that.

I'm setting up the pre-order for the next book (#4) in the Harbored in Crow's Nest series, and didn't want my readers to be confused on why the series jumped from book 2 to book 4 ... so that's why I added the Escape with the Prodigal page now instead of waiting until January. I'm sorry for the extra confusion.

Yes, it will be 117.

Thanks. I added "Escape with the Prodigal" to the series page. I fixed the numbering since the book is 117 pages. It's novella length and should be noted with decimals on Goodreads. I fixed the series page assuming the other books are actually novel length. This is of course impossible for me to confirm. If you could confirm that would be great.

About removing the anthology. I made a post asking other librarians if that can be done because like I said such additions are allowed https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

I'm afraid, now I'm confused ... I don't want Holiday Menace removed from Goodreads, I just don't want it linked to my series in deference to the other authors. Their novellas aren’t part of the Harbored in Crow's Nest series.

Okay. Now I'm wishing I never made the Escape with the Prodigal page ... I only wanted to make things easier for my readers and now the whole thing it's so much messier than I ever intended and affecting my fellow authors 😞
