Would anyone like to read The Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco in August? Not open to other months as using for a group challenge
SarahKat, can you add me to The name of the Rose with Rachael and remove me from Malcolm X autobiography. Not ready yet to try the biography or autobiography genre. Thanks
Hi, I haven't done a buddy read in years so I'm not sure of the protocol but I'd like to do one for July, All Fours by Miranda July, is it too late to add that?
ooh okay I jus saw the FAQ at the top, dang this mobile app! If it's too much trouble to add to July, can I get it for August instead.

The whisper man was so good!
I'd like to suggest The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires by Grady Hendrix for September or October pleasealso I think my suggestion for The People in the Trees by Hanya Yanagihara for August or September got lost in the mix (message 742) :)
Thanks SarahKat!
I'd like to join M for The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires in September. That said, October is fine for me, too.
I will join M for The People in the Trees if we read it in September. I put it on hold at the library, but there's a six-week wait for it.
I really want to read:The Secret History
The Historian
I thought a buddy read would be good for these. I'm thinking The Secret History in September and The Historian in October.
Anyone want to join me? The Secret History is like a dark academia book and The Historian is vampires so I thought those months would work well.
Lina wrote: "I will join you for The Secret History, Joan! September works for me :)"Awesome!!!!!!!!!!
I would like to suggest Behind the Beautiful Forevers: Life, Death, and Hope in a Mumbai Undercity by Katherine Boo for October.

Jen what month are you suggesting these for? August? September?
Keep in mind August confirmations close in 2 days.
August, and I'll be getting most of them from the library at my destination and returning them when I leave. It's fine if no one responds.
This one also looks very fun and I'll be reading it on my holiday in early August if anyone wants to join.Jane Steele
UpdatedJen, no one responded so I didn't add yours to the spreadsheet since I didn't get a chance to update until after the 25th. Just don't want you do think you got missed.
Since The Housemaid is on tap for September, I'd like to suggest the rest of the series for Oct and Nov.I read Book 1 earlier in July, so I won't join the Sept BR.
Oct: The Housemaid's Secret (Housemaid, Book #2)
Nov: The Housemaid Is Watching (Housemaid, Book #3)
