Mae | 122 comments Idk I just can’t focus on one book I have to be reading like 4 books from 4 different genres 😭

legendofthe3divas | 998 comments I used to do that all the time as a kid, but I wouldn't be able to do it now lmao

Annabella | 39 comments I have such a big tbr and get distracted by other books so I always read at least two at once but if it's more than two I've probably paused reading one. I try not to read two of the same genre, or two that I haven't read before at the same time, then I don't get confused

Ad (nuradreena13) | 88 comments so for me i usually read 2/ 3 books at once. like 1 is a paperback which is usually my main read at the time n the other is an ebook as a filler book so that i can read on my phone at night before bed or whn i dont wnt to move lol n tht book is usually an easy read like a ya romance or some type of romance. n sometimes the 3rd is whn one out of the 2 books is not that good n i jst want a book that i know wouldnt get me into a reading slump

Mila | 1 comments lol same i can't read more than one book at a time

mona ♡ (showgirl edition) (mona_tv) idk i think im reading like 8 rn i have the attention span of a gnat so i get distracted by other books and go to read those even if im currently reading like four others.
tbh i don't trust ppl that don't have at least two or three books on their currently reading

Violet | 64 comments I normally can’t handle more than one book, but sometimes I’ll fina a really good book and have to put the other one down while I read it

rae (jurdan's version) Bestie sometimes I read like 8 books at the same time. Idk my brain just doesn't get them confused

holly I love reading like two or three or even more books at once because I have such a short attention span that I need to keep switching books. Unless it’s like a fast paced thriller then I’ll read it in one sitting but for the most part reading more than one book is the only way to avoid a reading slump. Also for me because I have such a short attention span reading more than one book actually helps me remember and retain what I read more than if I was just reading one book.

modeziree. (wheredowegonow) i dont even really know lol i just read it then i pick up anpother book ig

message 13: by caleigh (new)

caleigh (busy) as a severe mood reader i have to have 2-3 books going at once so i don’t lose my mind or go into a slump lmao but they’re usually different genres so it’s impossible to get things mixed up!

message 14: by cassy (new)

cassy (readbycassy) | 26 comments I did the mistake of starting like 3 books and now I'm stuck trying to choose which one to focus one every day.

message 15: by Marina ♡ (new)

Marina ♡ I'm in a huge slump and have like 8 books on my currently reading cuz I don't like forcing myself to read ....so i keep starting more

A tip: Let yourself overcome this slump. Don't force yourself to read. It makes it worse sometimes.

lydia ‧ ia (lydia_the_hobbit) | 101 comments ahahahaaaa this is so fr! Two is my max bc I'll hurt their feelings unless I divide my attention evenly 😭😭

message 18: by tara (new)

tara | 4 comments I slump one book, start another and then feel guilty and end up forgetting about both books. If the books are really gripping I will normally only have one book... but I agree I only start another because I don't like forcing myself to read. I hate reading multiple tho 😭

message 19: by megan (new)

megan | 58 comments i read the throne of glass series (haven’t finished i’m 750 pages into kingdom of ash) and that is the only time i will read two books at the same time. however i do read books a lot in between big series. like i needed a break from throne of glass so i paused and read another and then finish the book later
