Okay, Jot application updated to appease Facebook, camper winterized, leaves mulched and a story written. Productive weekend...

Slow month. Hope everyone enjoys the holiday

message 13: by Jeremy (new)

Jeremy Lichtman | 410 comments Theme is quite specific. I find I have a lot of swing and miss when that happens. Got me with a curveball, Greg!

Happy Thanksgiving all!

message 14: by Tom (new)

Tom Olbert | 1445 comments I thought it was a fun theme. (Of course, I borrowed a lot from Star Trek, but that was Greg's inspiration.)

Happy Holidays, all.

message 15: by Jeremy (new)

Jeremy Lichtman | 410 comments Fun indeed.

I'm learning about my own limitations as a writer as I go along...

message 16: by Tom (new)

Tom Olbert | 1445 comments Use the opportunity to push the boundaries.

message 17: by Jeremy (new)

Jeremy Lichtman | 410 comments That's not really my issue. More like: things don't necessarily land where I aim.

message 18: by Justin (new)

Justin Sewall | 1244 comments First day of Thanksgiving vacation. I'm trying to get one in under the wire.

I hope you all have a very Happy Thanksgiving with family and friends wherever you are. I am thankful for the many stories and inspirations you all have given me over the past six years!

Thank you, Justin. And, thanks for taking the time to get the story in. It was well written.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

Justin Sewall | 1244 comments Hey J.F.! My wife's name is Darla! I had a hard time not putting her into your story. LOL! Nicely done!

Best,

Justin

J.F. Williams | 371 comments LOL! Justin that was the first name that came to mind when I started writing the story at 6 pm yesterday. I was afraid readers would picture the late-90s animated series character. I'm glad you didn't.
