This year I made the crazy decision to try and read all of Stephen Kings books. At the time I thought, How many books could he have, thirty? Boy, was I in for a surprise. Ten pages and two weeks later I finally had a list that might maybe be complete. Then I found out he wrote under more than one name, and then I found out he's been at this since he was twelve. But I didn't give up. I figured as long as I stay focused I should be able to make it. Cue writing inspiration. I am not the most focused person in the world. Not unless I'm writing the books myself. Then even sleep becomes optional. Well, now it's getting to that point in the year where as a mother I no longer have any personal time because I'm so busy getting ready for various holidays and everyone wants me to socialize. But I haven't given up. I normally bring books with me wherever I go, and I'm not above walking and reading at the same time. Though I have gotten a lot of minor injuries that way.
