🎄Christmas Trivia Game🎄
Duration: November 1-December 31, 2023

This is a TEAM challenge. You will work as a team to move through the game board, answering trivia and reading books. Once a team reaches the finish, the game is over, BUT, it's the team with the most points that wins, so prioritize book length over speed!

Challenge Rules:
Standard Challenge Rules apply, plus...
🎅Rereads DO count for this challenge BUT must have been read more than a year ago.
🎅One book per prompt/task.
🎅Follow your own time zone. If you finish the book between the challenge dates in your time zone, it counts.
🎅NO BANKING BOOKS! You can only use books you've started after the challenge BEGINS, and finished AFTER you receive a task!
📌VERY IMPORTANT! Make sure that you have notifications turned on, so that you don't miss updates, bonus task notices, etc.

Task Rules:
Spaces are color-coded, and require a specific amount of books to be read by the team as a whole (not each player).
⬜ White Spaces require the team to read 1 book!
🟨 Yellow Spaces require the team to read 1 book!
🟩 Green Spaces require the team to read 2 books!
🟥 Red Spaces require the team to read 2 books!
*NOTE: 1 book per player! 1 player cannot read all the books!

You must be able to justify how your book fits the prompt. Creativity is encouraged, but please hold to the task/prompt.
🎁Cover Color must be more than 50% (https://labs.tineye.com/color/)
🎁List page number, percentage, or chapter for word in text
🎁Cover Items should be shown or mentioned in your post (ie cover image)
🎁Short explanation for other tasks for proof of task completion

How to Play:
🔸Use the link on the game board to "roll the dice" (make sure it's 1 6-sided die) and move to your space. (Click your token once to select it, then move your token)
🔸Select that space from the dropdown on your team's scoresheet (column A) and a trivia question will appear in column B.
🔸Type your answer in column C (it will begin generating answers as you type, you must spell correctly, or nothing will generate, so pay attention! - PS spell out numbers) and your reading task will appear in column D. Make sure that you feel comfortable with your answer, because even incorrect answers will generate a task. If you are incorrect, you will not receive any points for your book, your turn will end, and you will have to wait until the other team completes their turn to try again!
🔸Once you finish reading for your task, add your book information to columns E through H, then post your completion in THIS THREAD and I will confirm your answers and let you know if the next team can continue!

Ok I think it means that it is now Team Santa to roll. Sabina I rolled a 4. That put us on a yellow space - Macy's. Our question is: The movie "______________ on 34th street" is based on real life department store, Macy's.

I am thinking it is Miracle. What are your thoughts Sabina?

Funny enough, I just started a book with a finger on the cover (Some Girls Bite) but I think we need to wait for Team Santa to finish their Macys task before we can finish our task right? We make good teamies :)
