Hello, I'm here again as I can't seem to stay away from library books. Although I'm going to focus on reading my own books, I'm certain to have climbed a small peak or two here as well. I do like having this extra virtual challenge in addition to the Mount TBR.
Hello again, everyone! Here I am for another year of trying (that being the key word here) to stay on track with my owned books but also allowing myself a few 'escapes' into the shining world of library books! I managed to stay pretty much focused in 2023, let's hope I can maintain that in 2024 as well!
I'm in for another virtual climb. In 2024, I want to focus on books I've been meaning to get to for a long time.
Hello, I'm also here to try to track my climbs both Library and Owned books again. I'm starting out small and hopefully will surpass it but we will see. Too many books and not enough time but I'm going to be purposeful with my time for my passion in 2024. Good luck everyone and happy climbing!
Hi! This is my 5th year (I think) doing this challenge. I’m a library assurance and working on my MLIS degree which I will finish in Fall 2024. I am going to do 36 books. Good luck and happy climbing to all!
I have a ridiculous number of owned books that I have not read but I still get so many books from the library... I also love Narnia and cannot resist aiming for Stormness Head... Any excuse to read any and all books really...Good luck to all participants.
Hi everyone. This is my first year of participating in the virtual Mount TBR challenge. I am hoping to get to books that I've been putting off for awhile instead of always reading newly recommended books (booktube is both a blessing and a curse!).
My goal is Mount Munch (36 books). Hope everyone has a lovely reading year in 2024!
Hey, it’s me again! I considered not joining in this year as my reading has been all over the place. I am, however, addicted to books. So here I go again.I’m Steven E. McDonald, author, but in life I go by David Alexander McDonald (who’s a composer and musician.) I’ve been reading since I was three years old. I own a ridiculous number of books, but I still borrow…and have a ridiculous reading list there too.
Hello, it's Lynn again! I'm back for climbing up the never ending mountain of books. See you all on the slopes!
Hi! Although I hope to climb higher in the Mount TBR, I hope to at least scale one mountain here, also.
*waves hello to everyone*Hello - I'm Sheila, and I'm a bookaholic (if that's a word)! I've lost track how many times I've joined this challenge. This year I'm attempting Stormness Head.
Hey everyone. I'm Beverly and this is my 2nd or 3rd year in doing this challenge. I almost got Mt. Crumpit scaled last year, but not quite. I'm hoping to get it scaled this year!!!
Hi! I'm Liander. I've been doing Mount TBR for a long time but have only done Virtual Mount TBR since 2021.I read a lot of library books! I'm a library technician in an elementary school. I count the picture books I read to my classes (I read most of them 11 times and count them once so that feels fair to me lol). I try to read all the MYRCA (a local middle grade award) nominees every year. And despite the fact that I rarely browse at the public library, somehow I always have a stack of library books on my cart.
So here I am, usually climbing Mount Seleya, but starting on Mount Mindolluin. Because maybe this year I'll actually focus on my Mount TBR. :D
Hello everyone, I'm VT! I currently do a lot of reading in a volunteer position, and have committed to reading 50 books this year - and I'm happy to declare that this year, I'm finally going to tackle some of the books on my library wish list! Some of them have been there for a decade.
Hi Bev! I decided to join you on the Virtual slopes again this year! Originally, I was only planning on focusing on my personal TBR list, but recently I have been leaning toward the library. I've been needing a break, or something different. Most of my TBR is on my Kindle, but I also like reading physical books, so here I am! See you on the virtual slopes!!
