I just finished Final Flight by Stephen Coonts. I rated it 4, really 4.5, only down from a 5 because of the overabundance of technical terminology and what felt like less than optimal character building in the area of the Naval pilots and ship's crew
I just finished the house of my mother by Sherri Franke, I gave it a 3. It's about that influencer mom Ruby Franke, told by her daughter and everything her and her family went through. it was a good read
I just finished reading Let the Right One In by John Ajvide Lindqvist. I read it for the second time. I had heard the audiobook version first. A solid 5 Stars!
I finished Profile K by Helen Fields
Since this book was originally published in 2024, and I read the Kindle version that's due to be published in April 2025, there is not much that I can add to the numerous already glowing reviews here on GR.
It's great, it's surprising, it fully deserves five stars.
Just finished Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir - 6/5I loved every part of it.
The science was great to learn about, the comedy was on point, the relationships throughout the story. All of it.
Can't wait for it to come out in theaters!
Shock Front
4 stars
Read as an ARC. Netgalley.
electrifying spy thriller.

I've finished The Forest of Lost Souls by Dean Koontz
It left me speechless: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
The Calendar Mums
by Lauren K McKellar and my five star review.https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
In Farleigh Field and rated it six stars as I enjoyed it so much and keep thinking about it. I added it to both six stars Listopias.
I finished Whiteout by R.S. Burnett
An incredible story about a brave woman: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I'm reading Top of the World by Hans Reusch right now and it's easily going to be a 5 for me. one of those second hand book store discoveries. it is about Arctic Eskimos - the most hardcore Eskimos. and the author himself is quite interesting as well. I bought 3 more of his books; the sequel to this one and 2 non-fictions on the medical field.
The last book I read was "They Both Die at the End" by Adam Silvera and I rated in 3 out of 5 stars and i'm starting the prequel "The First to Die at the End" today :)
Last one I read was Hidden Figures by Margot Lee Shetterly 4/5 stars. Fantastic history and you can see the passion she had for the topic but not well executed. It is not a story that can be summed up in 300 pages. Leaves you wanting more.
The Well of Ascension by Brandon Sanderson - 5 ⭐'s one of the best books (and series) I've ever read
The WomenThis was a magnificent book, 5-6stars. Those older women in my book group know their stuff.
Wish it were a more "solid" book, but it sure was satisfying - November 9 Colleen Hoover. and it was a 4.25 for me. An easy fun love story with nice twists.
