It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. It was fast paced which made it a good plane ride and surprisingly I never once left it to watch a movie instead (I often get distracted from books I am reading). However it was nothing memorable

'Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage' by Haruki Murakami. Rated it 5/5 simply for Murakami's writing style. I've been recommended Norwegian Wood- but decided to read this first. Complex characters and a reflective storyline. If your a fan of "Tomorrow, and Tomorrow and Tomorrow" by Gabrielle Zevin- you'll enjoy this (and vice-versa!)

Thought: Definitely better than the second! Good pace and a variety of engaging storylines. However, so far the fourth is a slog to get through. The first was amazing. I like it but better fantasy series exist!

I am on the 3rd book in a box set by Gordon Carroll called Gil Mason Gunwood USA box set. Great mystery, a lot of suspense and he is a canine officer. He talks from different perspectives, like from Gil's viewpoint and then sometimes from viewpoint of the dogs in the book. I give the first 2 books in the set a 5/5,
