NOT llama llama red pajama. This book was about llamas who left their clothes on the floor and they where taken by a mouse. It was read to us as kids, 1980"s,

Down by the Bay has a line about llamas and pajamas, but I'm not sure the rest is a match.When in the 1980s did you read this book? Could it have been as late as '89?
It could have been but it was the whole book. It wasn't just a line. The book was about cleaning up after yourself.
My sister found it! Humpty Dumpty's Bedtime Stories Book Pictures by Kelly Oechsli Vintage 1971.
