Diary style book with each entry dated. Likely fiction, told from the perspective of a young girl. Can only remember she was sad because her dad was upset about their cattle having to be put down due to suspected mad cow disease.
I read this book from the high school library in the UK - Scotland, about 2010/2011. I really enjoyed the book when I was younger and would love if anyone had any ideas at all? 🙏

Was the girl a teenager or a younger child?

Did she live on a dairy farm in the UK?

She was a younger girl I’m sure. I can’t remember if the farm was in the UK, though I’m sorry! Chances are high that it would have been, though.
