Elves, Humans, Urgals, or Dwarves? (which is your favorite and why?)

Emma Rose The elves of Du Weldenvarden are, hands down, my favorite race in this book; awesome powers: singing bows out trees, their cat-like grace and ultimate coolness. :D

Sic Transit Gloria Humans. They're the go-getters. If you left all the others to themselves, there'd be next to no progress. Elves would increase the forest and magic, dwarves would dig more holes, and Urgals would fight more. Humans get things done.

Though if they were on the list, I'd choose dragons over them all.

Nocturn Urgals are awesome they kind of remind me of talking Minotaur's and the ones in the last book was pretty awesome

Faith I really like the elves. They're very wise and graceful, yet they have a fierce ferocity in battle. I'm also fond of the Werecats. They're just plain mysterious and say things like it is wrapped within a riddle. I also like the Dragons, of course!

Apollo Elves for peace, speed, and hippies. Dwarves for their craftsmanship. Humans are just so suborn. And their lives are too short. Urgals for their brute strength and challenging society.

Nocturn Why does everyone like the elves? Yes they are awesome but lots of them are mean or the fact that their species is slowly dying out because they fail at having kids?

Apollo Urgals for the win! Strongest of the 3. Humans don't count. they just argue.

Virginia Obviously, I'm voicing the minority opinion. I like dwarves. Theirs is the oldest race on Alagaesia. The other races - those "johnny-come-latelys" look down on them. People think all dwarves care about are the jewels and metals they can dig from the earth. That's not true. They love beauty - Isidar Mithrim is their pride and joy. They are deeply religious and incredibly generous and brave. Look how they took the Varden in. And how Orik disobeyed the Twins to rescue Eragon from the Urgals. And how Hrothgar adopted Eragon into his own clan and gave him and Sapphira a fortune in dragon and human armor. The dwarves have my vote!

Amanda-I dream of a gallant southern gentleman watching the sunset Elves. They're so. . . . ruthless? Graceful? Tricky? Unique.

Correct. All of the above.

Teresa My favorite race are the elves because I really love their connection with nature and their culture. I also like the way they use magic and how they fight in battle.

Amanda-I dream of a gallant southern gentleman watching the sunset I also really like how they don't treat their women like useless cowards who need men to protect them.

You've really got a point there.

Same here. Cant say better the reason

Josiah Mcfeeters I agree with the minority because Dwarfs are my favorite. They may be a little slow at deciding what it is there going to do but, when they do decide to do something they go all out. Also Orik was one of the best characters in the book.
