what is that book where the protagonist is a female high school student and she isn't in to football players, but she spends time with one at a farm and falls in love with him and also plot twist, her best friend is a lesbian and in love with her

So I'm looking for this book that I remember LOVING when I was in middle school, around 2018, maybe 2019? I don't remember quite well. I remember vague details about this book, but I know I fell in love with it at first read. It was in my English class when I picked it up. So I think the plot goes like this: The girl is in a small town where their high school football team is well known. I think the football player she falls in love with, I think he got in trouble with a family member and now he helps at a farm? Either that or they both are volunteering, I can't remember. But I remember very vividly about a plot point where the girl meets up with her best friend and her best friend is upset and confesses her love for the girl, also coming out to her. I can't for the life of me remember the name. And also, I think they laid in a field at the farm before as well.
