I almost put it aside after very dull first half of a book. Emily's diary entries were academic and boring. Hated the footnotes when listening in an audiobook format.
I just didn't enjoy Emily's character. I understand that she was written purposely as neurodiverse character but she was just so dull.
What kept me reading were the fantastic side characters and the overall setting of remote wintery scandic village at the end of the world. And the fairies of course. Poe was just adorable.
Also, didn't get the romance between Wendell and Emily at all. Fortunately, this was a very minor side plot.
Overall an OK read. Maybe I just had high expectations as the book has got very much praise lately.
Im going to change my books for the recent book choice and the free space. I can't get into either of them. :(

Review:
This was my first book by this author. It is one twisted tale with surprises. I don’t want to say too much and spoil it for readers. As a warning it might not be best for sensitive people. I really liked that the twist near the end, I did not see it coming. I would recommend this book for a certain audience.

Review- So, so good!
This book is so great! I absolutely loved it and will begin book 2 as soon as possible! I was and am hooked! I need more! 😫 This storyline is so different from most books I have read, and I have read a lot of them! The world building is spot on, and the character building is as well! The main character is a BA, and she is very intelligent and self-aware! The male characters are absolutely great and very respectful! I highly recommend this book!

Review- Awesome story
Awesome story! I don't think I have read a look like this one. It is pretty unique beginning to end. The story building was well-thought-out And the character building was awesome! I will definitely be reading more by this author in the future. The entire way you are kept on your toes, the main character is Living in a world filled With mental and emotional chaos. And by the end You feel at peace for the main character.

Review- Love ❤️
I love this book! I love how protective Asher is of Eve! I just love the characters all of them! This book is so very good! Every character had very different personalities and were very unique to themselves. The world building was good as well! I'm very excited to read book two! I am going to have to read more books by this author! If this book is anything to go off of, then I am in for some good reading!

Review:
This is the 3rd in the Nocturne falls mysteries. This was not my favorite. I did not care for the 2 main characters. They both seemed flat and not at all charming( the reason I read these books). The plot seemed to drag, it did pick up towards the end. Frankly if it wasn’t for this challenge, I wouldn’t have finished it. I may try the next in the series, but not for awhile.

Review- Good book just not my cup of tea.
Spiral of need is good 👍 if you're into a book that is about constantly having Turmoil and a relationship that is obvious where it's going by the 2nd character, and can't get behind themselves enough to see it. This book isn't my favorite. I have read a lot of books that are similar. This book felt very much like all the others and just had different fillers. As in the same stenciled outline ,but the shirt color was different. I'm just reading way too many books that are not this way recently for me to give it more than three stars. I recommend this book to those who like the typical shifter book.

First fantasy / PNR book by romance author Ali Hazelwood and she did very well.
I don't think I have ever read a story about arranged marriage between vampire and werewolf. Such an interesting setting with great leading couple. Misery is probably one of my favorite PNR heroines lately and deserved her happy ending.

Review:
I really enjoy these Mercy Thompson books. She is a badass. I love all the characters even Bonarata, he is definitely going to be trouble. In this book we learn some of the back story of some of the characters and I really enjoyed that. I will definitely read the next one Winter Lost.

Last book in series, problems solved, threats to all supernaturals living in Magiford eliminated and a predictable happy ending to Chloe and Noctus story.
I liked Chloe as a character. She came to accept and learn her abilities step by step not suddenly turned from the shy bookstore clerk to superhero. Her self doubt and learning her magic through mistakes was more plausible.
I really like the world author created and happy to discover there are many more series taking place in the same universe.

Review:
This book, second in the Pineapple Port series was enjoyable. The characters are wacky and fun, I do enjoy them. Charlotte, age 26, lives in the retirement community named Pineapple Port. She has decided she wants to be a private eye and Seamus is mentoring her. He is Uncle to Declan (Charlotte’s boyfriend) and is becoming one of my favorite characters. I love this wacky book and will be continuing on with the series.

Review-Great book!
Great book! This was a slow burn kind of read. The kind where it starts out alright and is great by the end. The main character thinks she is crazy. The people around her are hiding a lot! Buy the end, some things are answered, and others are not. This book was a really good read an I recommend it!

Atmospheric , haunting, beautiful and confusing. What a beautifully written time-travel fantasy. I am a sucker for books that make me see the story roll like a movie in my head. This one played out in colors and emotions that were so real like I was in the movie theater watching the film.
I did guess the twist and the ending pretty early on but that didn't interfere with the enjoyment of June's journey. The confusion about the time travel threads and how it came together took away the star from my rating as I am confused still.
But it was so well and beautifully written book that I don't even mind that much.
