I remember reading this book in the early 2010s, and I think it was published during the late 2000s. They might not have been sneaking out to go a concert, but I definitely remember it was something that they were not going to get permission for, and when they almost get caught, they make up a story. I can't remember any of the character's name, and I have been looking for this book for years now.

Attempted kidnapping, rape, etc? Was there was a specific person they accused?
