bold and italics while writing reviews, can anyone help?

hey guys, ide died to put a post up in this group as i am looking for a bit of advise in reviews.

i know that with you can make the text bold and to have the post in italics, what i was wondering was if anyone who knows could tell me how to have certain parts of my review in bold i.e quotes and the rest just in normal text.

any help and advise will be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance!! 💕

Okay I normally type my reviews up in my notes I find it’s easier that way. But you have to put the code on the sentence a paragraph that you want specifically bold.
But I find that when you type it up on Goodreads, it makes everything bold (at least the app does)
