Ok, thanks I'll reach out to staff then.
I know you probably can't edit the Help pages or the Librarian Manual but whoever can may want to update it, since its directing people to use the Superlibrarian's folder to make these kinds of requests and the list of what a Superlibrarian can do also still includes this function.

This is the text from the Help page:
Superlibrarians can do these things that regular Librarians cannot:
- Move an ISBN/ASIN to the most recently published book when the same ISBN/ASIN has been used on 2 distinct books
I see how this can be confusing. This can only be done by Superlibrarians when adding a new edition/book to GR, not when both books/editions are already on GR.
This announcement (nr. 3) explains this proces: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
and has a note:
Note: In the rare cases when an ASIN or ISBN must be moved from one edition to another and the changes cannot be otherwise completed (such as with a merge), please use the Contact Us link to request that our Goodreads Experts move the ISBN or ASIN.

At the time of my post the second book, Sunshine, had not been added to GR so it matched the criteria from the Help page, hence my confusion when I was told Superlibarians couldn't do it. The second book was only added to GR after I submitted the request through the Contact Us link.
On Goodreads, the ASIN "B0BPRGP8C6" is currently being used on the title Until His Dying Breath by Kiki Clark and E.M. Lindsey. However, this title has yet to be published and can no longer be found on Amazon.
When you search Amazon for the ASIN it comes up with a different book called Sunshine (Trident Agency Book 1) by the same authors, which is set to come out on November 7.

Can the ASIN be moved to this new title?
