SciFi Short fast paced book set on the international space station. They discover a new lifeform and everyone gets sick and dies. Almost exactly like the 2017 movie 'Life'

Read this book in 2018, although I got it from an op-shop, so likely much older. The plot is so similar to the 2017 movie 'life' I actually though the movie was an adaptation of the book, although no credit has been given that I can find.
The only difference I can remember is the movie has a physical life from killing everyone while I believe in the book it was a virus that took everyone out.
It is quite short and super fast paced, never lets up until it's over.
