Very scary Mystery book. Alternating narratives (multiple POVs). Police check out a weird smell in apartment complex, woman keeping a dead body in one of her rooms. Set in London. Read early 2022.

I read this book in early 2022, Jan - Feb. I know the setting took place in London, and it had altering narratives between the characters. The police were called on report of weird smell in their apartment complex. They found that this women, was keeping a dead body in one of her rooms. Detectives started to investigate and all they could get out of her was she the body was her friend and she needed to take care of it. There was a woman psychologist that one of the detectives asked to come in and "take a look at her".
I think I also remember there being an affair and a divorce with some of the characters. I never got to finish the book because it wasn't mine to keep and I had moved.
