The story transitions between the present and the years during the task force investigation in 1993 - 1995. We get quite a bit of insight about Nolasco from his own point of view. Did any of it reshape your impressions of the man?

Robin (robinmy) | 2466 comments In the previous books, it felt like Nolasco was a lazy cop who was always looking for a shortcut to solve a case. In these flashbacks, we see that he was serious about the task force and finding the killer.
