Kerri | 159 comments Mary Jane by Jessica Anya Blau
Mary Jane by Jessica Anya Blau. Charming coming-of-age story set during the summer of 1975. Nostalgic for those of us raised in that era. 4 stars.

chris | 89 comments I read Through the Woods by Emily Carroll. I never appreciated how few books have lowercase letters on the spine.

Shonna Froebel | 255 comments I read 'the man who didn't call' by Rosie Walsh. Both on the cover and the spine the title is in lowercase.

Brother Stephen | 167 comments I’m rereading A Clockwork Orange for this prompt.

“The Korova Milkbar was a milk-plus mesto, and you may, O my brothers, have forgotten what these mestos were like, things changing so skorry these days and everybody very quick to forget, newspapers not being read much neither.”

Denise | 553 comments I read Consider The Fork: A History of How We Cook and Eat by Bee Wilson

message 113: by Melissa (new)

Melissa (mlc69) | 64 comments I read Ice Cream, You scream by Kathleen Suzette

message 115: by Rayna (new)

Rayna | 6 comments If anyone is trying to find a book for this prompt, any title published in the New York Review of Books series works, since their logo is lowercase letters (nyrb) on the spine of each book.

I read the NYRB title of Walkabout by James Marshall Vance, which I can't really recommend — but it was a very quick, short read (130p) that worked for this prompt.

Ticha Skuam (dskuam) | 43 comments I was struggling finding a book with ONLY lowercase letters on the spine that would catch my attention and I was about to lose hope until I went back here and read the description again only to figure out it doesn't have to be ONLY lowercase letters (my bad).
It was a relieve to be able to add one of my favorite reads of the year: "A Sunny Place for Shady People" by Mariana Enriquez.
I read the Spanish version.

A Sunny Place for Shady People by Mariana Enríquez
