I have already read this one, so we can talk about it at any point while you read it. I really like this one. Who doesn't like a good vampire??

Not too far in but enjoying it so far! At this point Alec is still trying to figure out why Cronin has such power over him.

I love all the questions that have run through his mind while he is working through the fact that he is surrounded by vampires and yet not afraid of them.

One of my favorite questions was whether or not vampires pee. Would never have given that a thought!

I just love Eiji and Jodis. They make Cronin seem so stuffy and they are so relaxed. Its awesome.

I'm hijacking your buddy read for a minute. I recent read this book (the first 3 actually, and really enjoyed NR Walker's vampires a lot. I did think this first book wasn't quite as enjoyable as the next two but that could have been because I was listening to it right after having surgery and I kept falling asleep. 😆

The secondary characters were amazing. Eiji is, by far, my favorite but as the series progressed a couple others captured my attention for sure.
