Just started reading this one - I've been reading some pretty heavy books lately, so excited to hopefully cleanse my palette with this one!
Just finished this one! It was a fun and easy read. Not my favorite but it was fun to have a witchy themed book to read for Halloween season
I really didn’t like it. No chemistry. The plot felt a bit flat. It just was not worth the hype for me personally. I love m’y witchy books but this one just felt generic with nothing that really stood out to me.
I read this book today. Very light hearted, quick, fun read!
It wasn’t my favorite book but it felt complete.
Very cute for Halloween!!
Just finished this one. It definitely felt like a YA author trying to write an adult book - and it felt a little too cringey at times. It wasn't terrible, but it also wasn't great. It definitely had every little stereotypical Halloween event and decor thrown in there. It just felt like the author was trying too hard to make it "witchy" and it fell flat for me. I think TikTok gave me too high of expectations for this book.
Didn't partake in this, because I've read it already. My long and highly detailed 3 star review goes like this:
"Mediocre. Bonus star for Sir Purrcival." XD
I've just started this and feel like it's a fun one to end the spooky week. I can tell it won't be much in terms of razzle dazzle but definitely feels light and well spirited for Halloween :)
the ex hex was a super easy read— finished in one day! there were a few things that felt incomplete for me towards the end (i won't get into specifics here because of spoilers!), but overall i enjoyed it. october was the perfect time to read it with the witchy elements of the story. definitely not the best witchy romance i've ever read, but it was lighthearted and brought the spooky season ambiance. my full review will be posted to my profile!
